Boonsong Osot is the old medicine company in Thailand know for apply Thai Herb to modern medicine. The owner needs a new office & warehouse in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok. The architect intends to apply the wisdom of traditional Thai house to the modern office design, similar to the owner that apply the knowledge of Thai herbs to modern medicine.

บุญส่งโอสถ เป็นบริษัทผลิตยาจากสมุนไพรไทยที่มีชื่อเสียง ต้องการสร้างสำนักงานแห่งใหม่และโกดังเก็บของที่จังหวัดนนทบุรี  ผู้ออกแบบมีความตั่งใจที่จะนำองค์ความรู้ของสถาปัตยกรรมบ้านไทยเดิมมาประยุกต์ใช้กับงานออกแบบอาคารสำนักงานสมัยใหม่เช่นเดียวกับที่บุญส่งโอสถนำความรู้ด้านสมุนไพรไทยมาใช้กับยาแผนปัจจุบัน

PROGRAM: the owner requirement is compost of 3 parts, first office area, living area including bedrooms for gust and lastly warehouse for store their products.

PROGRAM: ความต้องการหลักของเจ้าของอาคารมี 3 ส่วนประกอบด้วย สำนักงาน, ส่วนพักผ่อนรวมทั้งห้องนอนเพื่อพักอาศัยสำหรับแขกของบริษัทฯและสุดท้ายส่วนโกดังเก็บสินค้า

PLACE: all programs are placed in to the site. Office area is place in front of the site near the main road and the 2^nd floor is cantilevered for main entrance and cover the front parking area. The living area is in the middle and warehouse on the back.

PLACE: เมื่อนำความต้องการต่างๆมาวางในพื้นที่ โดยส่วนสำนักงานถูกวางอยู่ด้านหน้าสุด มีการยื่นยาวที่ชั้น 2 เพื่อสร้างทางเข้าหลักและที่จอดรถด้านหน้า ส่วนพักผ่อนถูกวางอยู่กลางและส่วนเก็บของอยู่ท้ายสุด

COURT: Office area is occupying 1st and 2nd floor. Next to this area is Living area that is designed to use the 2^nd floor for living space and continue to bedrooms on the 3rd floor. Both areas are designed to interlock each other to create green courtyard in the middle.

COURT: ส่วนสำนักงานใช้พื้นที่ชั้น 1และ 2 ถักจากนั้นเป็นส่วนพักผ่อนซึ่งใช้พื้นที่ชั้น 2 สำหรับห้องพักผ่อนและต่อเนื่องไปยังห้องนอนที่ชั้น 3 ทั้ง 2 ส่วนถูกออกแบบให้ interlock เพื่อเปิดเป็นสวนตรงกลางพื้นที่เพื่อความร่มรื่น

CHAAN: Since the design concept derives from the traditional Thai house, some areas are separated into smaller parts for good ventilation and natural light to enter each area and reconnect them through a large outdoor terrace called “Chaan” to integrate each area together and create outdoor recreational spaces. This building also used other traditional Thai house concept such as main function of building is raised above the ground to 2^nd floor to prevent flooding by leave service function on the 1st floor.

CHAAN: เนื่องจากแนวความคิดในการออกแบบมาจากบ้านไทยดั้งเดิม จึงมีการแยกอาคารออกเป็นส่วนๆ ทำให้มีการระบายอากาศและมีแสงธรรมชาติเข้าสู่ภายในอาคารได้ดี และเชื่อมต่อพื้นที่เข้าด้วยกันผ่านระเบียงกลางแจ้งขนาดใหญ่ที่เรียกว่า “ชาน” ทำให้พื้นที่อาคารภายในและภายนอกมีบรรยากาศที่ดี นอกจากนี้ยังมีแนวความคิดอื่นๆจากบ้านไทยเดิม เช่น ยกส่วนใช้สอยหลักของอาคารขึ้นไปที่ชั้น 2 เหนือพื้นดินเพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงน้ำท่วม โดยพื้นที่ชั้น 1 ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นส่วนบริการ

ROOF FORM & MATERIALS: The building roofs is a simple gable roof similar to tradition Thai house, by rotate roof ridge lines, roof forms of the building become different. The effected of this operation make the building form look varies depend on the view angles to the building. Metal sheet roofing is applied to this roof form and some areas are continue to the wall combine with other tradition Thai house materials such as wood.

CHAAN: เนื่องจากแนวความคิดในการออกแบบมาจากบ้านไทยดั้งเดิม จึงมีการแยกอาคารออกเป็นส่วนๆ ทำให้มีการระบายอากาศและมีแสงธรรมชาติเข้าสู่ภายในอาคารได้ดี และเชื่อมต่อพื้นที่เข้าด้วยกันผ่านระเบียงกลางแจ้งขนาดใหญ่ที่เรียกว่า “ชาน” ทำให้พื้นที่อาคารภายในและภายนอกมีบรรยากาศที่ดี นอกจากนี้ยังมีแนวความคิดอื่นๆจากบ้านไทยเดิม เช่น ยกส่วนใช้สอยหลักของอาคารขึ้นไปที่ชั้น 2 เหนือพื้นดินเพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงน้ำท่วม โดยพื้นที่ชั้น 1 ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นส่วนบริการ
